Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Asian Hotels, Srivasavi Adhesive Tapes Ltd., Ingersoll-Rand, Zen Tech and Faze Three Ltd, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 129.0 points up at 17080.7 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Mirza Intnl, Brightcom Group, Dhanvarsha Finvest, Nidan Laboratories And Healthcare Ltd. and Sanwaria Consumer, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 43 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 6 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, JSW Steel, Eicher Motors and HCL Tech were among top gainers during the day, while UPL, Bharti Airtel, RIL, Asian Paints and ICICI Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 346.37 points up at 57960.09.

Traders piled up positions in Sugar, Shipping, Rubber, Paper and Agro Processing sectors, while selling was witnessed in Infrastructure, Petrochemicals, Plastics, Leather and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors during the day.
