Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Motor Gen Fin, Geekay Wires, Chaman Lal Setia, Manaksia Ltd and Hilton Metal, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 85.6 points down at 17770.9 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Kanpur Plastip, Precot Meridian, Excel Ind, Elin Electronics Ltd. and Sanwaria Consumer, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 18 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 32 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Titan Company, L&T, NTPC, Bajaj Auto and Eicher Motors were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, SBI, Infosys and TCS ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 250.86 points down at 60431.84.

Traders piled up positions in Leather, Metals - Non Ferrous, IT Enabled Services, Gems and Jewellery and Logistics sectors, while selling was witnessed in Glass, Textiles, Media & Entertainment, Agro Processing and Infrastructure sectors during the day.
