Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of BF Investment, TD Power Sys, Krishna Defence and Allied Industries Ltd., Pritika Engineering Components Ltd. and Cords Cable Ind, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 35.1 points up at 18232.55 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Godha Cabcon & Insul, Arihant Academy Ltd., Moxsh Overseas Educon Ltd., SKS Textiles and Pansari Developers, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Life, SBI Life, Axis Bank, Titan Company and TCS were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, Britannia, M&M, JSW Steel and Grasim Inds. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 126.41 points up at 61294.2.

Traders piled up positions in Holding Company, Term Lending Institutions, Cables, Shipping and Financial Services sectors, while selling was witnessed in Glass, Learning & Education, Textiles, Fertilisers and Trading sectors during the day.
