Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Malu Paper Mill, Salasar Techno Engg, PSP Projects, Jindal Worldwide and Shriram Pistons, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 35.15 points down at 18385.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Arshiya, Jakharia Fabric, Penta Gold, Sintex Inds. and Vital Chemtech Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 12 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 36 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., TCS, RIL, IndusInd Bank and Axis Bank were among top gainers during the day, while SBI Life, Eicher Motors, UPL, Tata Motors and HUL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 103.9 points down at 61702.29.

Traders piled up positions in Paper, Airlines, Telecommunications, Defence and Diversified sectors, while selling was witnessed in Learning & Education, IT Enabled Services, Services, NBFC and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
