Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Madras Fert, FACT, Indbank Merc, Aries Agro and National Fert, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 245.4 points down at 18414.9 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Cerebra Integrat, Ishan International Ltd., Supreme Engineering, Osia Hyper Retail and Sintex Inds., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 7 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 43 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Britannia, Hero MotoCorp, SBI Life, NTPC and Sun Pharma were among top gainers during the day, while Tech Mahindra, Titan Company, Infosys, HDFC and Eicher Motors ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 878.88 points down at 61799.03.

Traders piled up positions in Fertilisers, Telecommunications, Gas & Petroleum, Cables and Tyres sectors, while selling was witnessed in Services, IT Enabled Services, Learning & Education, NBFC and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
