Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Axita Cotton, HPL Electric Power, Salasar Techno Engg, Dhanlaxmi Bank and HLV Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 54.15 points up at 18812.5 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Indiabulls Intgrtd, FutureLifestyleFash, Dhanuka Realty, Vital Chemtech Ltd. and Proseed India, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 22 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Steel, Hindalco, UltraTech Cem., TCS and Grasim Inds. were among top gainers during the day, while UPL, Eicher Motors, ICICI Bank, Cipla and Bajaj Auto ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 184.54 points up at 63284.19.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Cement, Real Estate, Cables and Industrial Consumables sectors, while selling was witnessed in Learning & Education, IT Enabled Services, Services, NBFC and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
