Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Mahalaxmi Rub, Mas Fin Services, Murudeshwar Cera, Rites and Unichem Labs, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 30.15 points down at 18052.7 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Manali Petro, Cyber Media Research & Services Ltd., Rel Capital, Williamson Magor and Jai Balaji Inds, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 25 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, SBI, Titan Company, UPL, HUL and Bharti Airtel were among top gainers during the day, while Tech Mahindra, Hindalco, Power Grid, NTPC and Infosys ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 69.68 points down at 60836.41.

Traders piled up positions in IT - Hardware, Rubber, Sugar, Defence and Industrial Equipment sectors, while selling was witnessed in Learning & Education, NBFC, Glass, Miscellaneous and IT Enabled Services sectors during the day.
