Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Electronics Mart India Ltd., Maks Energy Solutions India Ltd., Jay Jalaram Technologies Ltd., Atlanta Ltd and Annapurna Swadisht Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 126.1 points up at 17311.8 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Omkar Speciality, Debock Sales & Mktg, Kandarp Digi Smart BPO Ltd., OrissaBengalCarrier and Setco Automotive, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 34 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 16 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, SBI, NTPC, Bajaj Finserv, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, L&T, JSW Steel, HCL Tech and Wipro ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 491.01 points up at 58410.98.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Industrial Equipment, Power, Glass and Infrastructure sectors, while selling was witnessed in NBFC, Miscellaneous, IT Enabled Services, Term Lending Institutions and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors during the day.
