Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ameya Precision Engineers Ltd., Liberty Shoes, Shree Tirupati Balaj, Salasar Exteriors and M K Proteins, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 8.9 points down at 17007.4 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Gayatri Project, Dhampur Bio Organics Ltd., Debock Sales & Mktg, Viviana Power Tech Ltd. and Mercator, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, Tata Consumer, Shree Cements, Power Grid and BPCL were among top gainers during the day, while Hero MotoCorp, Adani Ports SEZ, Tata Steel, Titan Company and Kotak Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 37.7 points down at 57107.52.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Sugar, Irrigation & Allied Services, IT - Hardware and Glass sectors, while selling was witnessed in Defence, Metals - Ferrous, NBFC, Miscellaneous and IT Enabled Services sectors during the day.
