Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Medicamen Bio, Mahalaxmi Rub, Vinyl Chemicals, Anik Industries and Commercial Engg, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 27.45 points up at 17604.95 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Veekayem Fashion & Apparels Ltd., IMP Powers Ltd, GVK Power Infra, Future Enterprises and Sanofi India, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 29 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 21 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Apollo Hospital, IndusInd Bank, ONGC, NTPC and ICICI Bank were among top gainers during the day, while BPCL, Divis Labs, Tata Steel, TCS and Sun Pharma ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 54.13 points up at 59085.43.

Traders piled up positions in Rubber, Paper, Glass, Telecommunications and Miscellaneous sectors, while selling was witnessed in Metals - Ferrous, Term Lending Institutions, Auto Ancillaries, Gas & Petroleum and Pharmaceuticals sectors during the day.
