Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Rama Phosphates, Kotyark Industries Ltd., Cool Caps Industries Ltd., CSL Finance and Bhagiradha Chem, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 15.5 points up at 17397.5 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Future Retail, Birla Tyres, Ahimsa Industries L, Debock Sales & Mktg and Alembic Pharma, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 28 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 22 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, UltraTech Cem., Shree Cements, ICICI Bank, UPL and Bharti Airtel were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, Britannia, M&M, Eicher Motors and RIL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 89.13 points up at 58387.93.

Traders piled up positions in Airlines, Telecommunications, IT - Hardware, Cement and Pesticides/Agro Chemicals sectors, while selling was witnessed in Metals - Ferrous, Gas & Petroleum, Pharmaceuticals, Tyres and Power sectors during the day.
