Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Lumax Auto Tech, GRP Ltd, PC Jeweller, BLS Int. Services and Akshar Spintex, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 110.55 points up at 16049.2 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Electrotherm, Suumaya Lifestyle, DRC Systems India Ltd., Policy Bazaar and Uttam Galva Stl, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 34 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 16 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Consumer, Titan Company, Tata Motors, HUL and Eicher Motors were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Steel, Power Grid, HCL Tech, Wipro and JSW Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 344.63 points up at 53760.78.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Gems and Jewellery, Auto, Construction and IT Enabled Services sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Media & Entertainment, Auto Ancillaries, Gas & Petroleum and Metals - Ferrous sectors during the day.
