Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Globesecure Technologies Ltd., Rachana Infrastructure Ltd., CMM Infraprojects Ltd., Globe Intl. Carriers and Kohinoor Foods, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 288.65 points up at 15638.8 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Ahimsa Industries L, Fidel Softech Ltd., Future Consumer, Sadbhav Eng and KN Agri Resources Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 49 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 1 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Titan Company, Hindalco, JSW Steel, Coal India Ltd and Adani Ports SEZ were among top gainers during the day, while Apollo Hospital, Nestle India, Kotak Bank, Bajaj Finserv and HUL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 934.23 points up at 52532.07.

Traders piled up positions in Glass, Sugar, Gas & Petroleum, Gems and Jewellery and Fertilisers sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Miscellaneous and Media & Entertainment sectors during the day.
