Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Uravi T and Wedge, PG Electroplast, Foce India Ltd., Shanthi Gears and AIA Engineering, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 76.85 points down at 16584.55 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Indo Borax Chem, Nath Bio-Genes , Timescan Logistics(India)Ltd., Dynemic Product and Subex, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 28 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 22 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, M&M, NTPC, Coal India Ltd and JSW Steel were among top gainers during the day, while Sun Pharma, Kotak Bank, HDFC, Titan Company and HDFC Life ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 359.33 points down at 55566.41.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Retail, Miscellaneous, Services and Mining sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment and Power sectors during the day.
