Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of IKIO Lighting Ltd., Ambica Agarbathi, Kalyan Jewellers Ind, Mazagon Dock Ship and Lokesh Machines, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 137.9 points up at 18826.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as A G Universal, Kore Digital, Rachana Infrastructu, Auro Impex & Chemic and M K Proteins, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 37 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 11 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Life, SBI Life, Dr. Reddys, Bajaj Finserv and Titan Company were among top gainers during the day, while Wipro, Bajaj Auto, TCS, BPCL and ONGC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 466.95 points up at 63384.58.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Defence, Retail, Financial Services and Gems and Jewellery sectors, while selling was witnessed in Real Estate, Trading, FMCG, Cables and General sectors during the day.
