Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Centum Elec, Nucleus Soft, Hind Rectifiers, NDR Auto Components and Mallcom(India), hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Centum Elec, Nucleus Soft, Hind Rectifiers, NDR Auto Components and Mallcom(India), hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 99.3 points up at 18598.65 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Sanwaria Consumer, Shekhawati Poly, Gammon Infra, Lagnam Spintex and Pritish Nandy, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 35 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Titan Company, Tata Steel, Coal India Ltd and SBI Life were among top gainers during the day, while ONGC, Power Grid, HCL Tech, Divis Labs and Maruti Suzuki ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 344.69 points up at 62846.38.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Gems and Jewellery, Term Lending Institutions, Mining and Holding Company sectors, while selling was witnessed in Infrastructure, Tyres, Rubber, Gas & Petroleum and General sectors during the day.
