Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of BEW Engineering, Dynamic Cables, Schneider, Arham Technologies and Deep Industries, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 62.6 points down at 18285.4 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as SITI Networks, Jakharia Fabric, Auro Impex & Chemic, Salasar Exteriors and Vikas Multicorp, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 28 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 22 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddys, Hero MotoCorp, ITC and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 208.01 points down at 61773.78.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Aquaculture, Holding Company, Leather and Electric/Electronics sectors, while selling was witnessed in Packaging, Shipping, Paper, IT - Hardware and Industrial Equipment sectors during the day.
