Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 3702.98 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 2290.62 crore), RIL(Rs. 1991.74 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1680.86 crore), HDFC(Rs. 1436.23 crore), SBI(Rs. 1328.28 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 1052.43 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 1022.88 crore), Chola Inv Finance(Rs. 1012.21 crore) and Infosys(Rs. 986.52 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 42.1 points up at 17599.15, while BSE Sensex rose 143.66 points to 59832.97.

In the Nifty index, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 3.30 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.97 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.60 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 1.93 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.50 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
