Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)(Rs. 1150.69 crore), PayTM(Rs. 239.25 crore), Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(Rs. 71.95 crore), Timken India(Rs. 64.41 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 48.87 crore), RIL(Rs. 47.19 crore), NTPC(Rs. 44.19 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 39.02 crore), India Infra Trust(Rs. 38.20 crore) and HUDCO(Rs. 37.38 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 65.75 points down at 18343.9, while BSE Sensex fell 230.12 points to 61750.6.

In the Nifty index, Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.14 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.56 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.30 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 0.68 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 0.59 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd.(down 2.36 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.13 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.95 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.76 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.75 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
