Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 1444.06 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1283.89 crore), CAMS(Rs. 1265.44 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 1097.86 crore), Indian Energy Exchg(Rs. 1009.26 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 961.62 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 945.89 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 940.59 crore), SAIL(Rs. 796.00 crore) and HDFC Bank(Rs. 786.36 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 143.05 points down at 17368.25, while BSE Sensex fell 503.25 points to 58283.42.

In the Nifty index, Axis Bank Ltd.(up 2.32 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.22 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 1.12 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 0.94 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 3.14 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.19 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 2.02 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 2.00 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.93 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
