Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 2414.30 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2120.38 crore), NALCO(Rs. 1569.43 crore), PayTM(Rs. 1513.02 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1397.98 crore), BSE(Rs. 1388.73 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1375.50 crore), Angel One(Rs. 1350.44 crore), M&M(Rs. 1268.10 crore) and PNB(Rs. 1264.74 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 13.95 points down at 25796.9, while BSE Sensex fell 33.49 points to 84266.29.

In the Nifty index, Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.06 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.29 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 1.71 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.61 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(up 1.54 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.62 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.90 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.56 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.53 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.26 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
