Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Indian Renewable(Rs. 435.93 crore), Indian Railway Fin(Rs. 268.37 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 237.85 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 170.32 crore), IRB Infra Dev.(Rs. 149.56 crore), FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)(Rs. 136.08 crore), Chennai Petro(Rs. 121.50 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 115.16 crore), Coal India Ltd(Rs. 87.07 crore) and NLC India (Rs. 86.70 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 26.3 points up at 24613.0, while BSE Sensex rose 51.69 points to 80716.55.

In the Nifty index, Coal India Ltd.(up 2.96 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 2.67 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 2.61 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.39 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 2.02 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.39 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.19 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 2.08 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.48 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(down 1.35 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
