Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 4082.55 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1964.66 crore), RIL(Rs. 1699.49 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1696.80 crore), Zomato(Rs. 1131.46 crore), BSE(Rs. 1122.23 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 1069.00 crore), SBI(Rs. 1063.07 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 989.60 crore) and L&T(Rs. 944.67 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 264.9 points down at 18857.25, while BSE Sensex fell 900.91 points to 63148.15.

In the Nifty index, Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.74 per cent), ITC Ltd.(up 0.38 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 0.23 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 0.16 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 0.14 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 4.02 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 3.54 per cent), UPL Ltd.(down 3.29 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 3.28 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 3.19 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
