Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Polo Queen Industria(Rs. 9942745 crore), Seasons Text(Rs. 9937008 crore), Indo Euro Ind(Rs. 9898057 crore), Risa Intnl(Rs. 9884292 crore), Bonlon Industries(Rs. 9872138 crore), Systematix Corp(Rs. 9859450 crore), Gemstone Invst(Rs. 9808377 crore), Voltaire Leas(Rs. 9781251 crore), Prime Sec(Rs. 9756205 crore) and Oil Country Tub(Rs. 9697208 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 46.1 points up at 19574.9, while BSE Sensex rose 152.12 points to 65780.26.

In the Nifty index, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 3.31 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 3.05 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 2.07 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.60 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.39 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.42 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.42 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.97 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 0.89 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
