Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

The NSE Nifty index closed 4.8 points up at 19347.45

Agarwal said the global economy is showing clear signs of recovery. The second wave of Covid-19 is ebbing in India with total active cases at less than 20 per cent of May highs.

NEW DELHI: Polyspin Exp(Rs. 9967607 crore), Infomedia Press(Rs. 9945730 crore), JSG Leasing(Rs. 9857322 crore), Rane Eng Valve(Rs. 9788050 crore), Vadilal Enterpr(Rs. 9781300 crore), Market Creators(Rs. 9770680 crore), R T Exports(Rs. 9760530 crore), Ucal Fuel Sys(Rs. 9760320 crore), Inter State Oil(Rs. 9738949 crore) and Kunststoffe Ind(Rs. 9701417 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 4.8 points up at 19347.45, while BSE Sensex rose 11.43 points to 65087.25.

In the Nifty index, Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.82 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.50 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.43 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(up 1.23 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.61 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent), State Bank of India(down 1.30 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.29 per cent) and Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.21 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
