Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: 3P Land Holdings(Rs. 9994598 crore), Visa Steel Ltd(Rs. 9957515 crore), Nirvikara Paper Mill(Rs. 9910628 crore), Fraser & Company(Rs. 9906486 crore), Bhilwara Tech(Rs. 9897108 crore), Prism Medico(Rs. 9865586 crore), Aditya Spinners(Rs. 9764168 crore), Roselabs Fin(Rs. 9748707 crore), Ozone World(Rs. 9689944 crore) and Gujarat Cont(Rs. 9630500 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 234.15 points down at 19745.0, while BSE Sensex fell 887.64 points to 66684.26.

In the Nifty index, Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 3.88 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 2.00 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.14 per cent), State Bank of India(up 0.83 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 0.70 per cent) stood among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Infosys Ltd.(down 8.13 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 4.62 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 3.67 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 3.49 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(down 3.10 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
