Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Navin Fluorine(Rs. 130.53 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 103.80 crore), Eicher Motors(Rs. 71.69 crore), Infosys(Rs. 70.67 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 46.46 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 46.16 crore), South Indian Bnk(Rs. 42.10 crore), Power Finance Corp.(Rs. 39.02 crore), L&T(Rs. 37.60 crore) and Max Healthcare(Rs. 35.96 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 17.8 points up at 18314.8, while BSE Sensex rose 123.38 points to 62027.9.

In the Nifty index, Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 6.49 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.97 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.79 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.64 per cent) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 1.20 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 3.83 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 2.86 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 2.74 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 2.56 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.69 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
