Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Pricol(Rs. 164.30 crore), Prince Pipes(Rs. 78.19 crore), EKI Energy Services Ltd.(Rs. 32.35 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 23.04 crore), Ambuja Cements(Rs. 22.04 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 21.20 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 20.99 crore), Tech Mahindra(Rs. 15.06 crore), Adani Green(Rs. 13.66 crore) and HAL(Rs. 13.21 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:34AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 44.05 points down at 17991.8, while BSE Sensex was down 160.42 points at 61159.09 as of 10:34AM(IST)on February 17.

In the Nifty index, UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 2.50 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.68 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 0.84 per cent) and UPL Ltd.(up 0.73 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Nestle India Ltd.(down 2.39 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.67 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.64 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.61 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent) were among the top losers.
