Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: ICICI Bank(Rs. 4925.42 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 2032.05 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1207.41 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 1203.04 crore), RIL(Rs. 1155.48 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 896.00 crore), IRB Infra Dev.(Rs. 753.48 crore), SBI(Rs. 707.35 crore), Indian Energy Exchg(Rs. 702.25 crore) and HDFC Bank(Rs. 613.96 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:16AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 15.4 points up at 18130.3, while BSE Sensex was up 124.81 points at 60946.43 as of 11:16AM(IST)on October 25.

In the Nifty index, ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 10.27 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 3.83 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.97 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 1.79 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.50 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.47 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 2.18 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 1.95 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.93 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.84 per cent) were among the top losers.
