Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: TCS(Rs. 1232.24 crore), Infosys(Rs. 985.84 crore), HUL(Rs. 876.58 crore), JP Power(Rs. 809.80 crore), Crizac Ltd.(Rs. 769.90 crore), Mamata Machinery Ltd.(Rs. 728.29 crore), BSE(Rs. 721.08 crore), Enviro Infra Engineers Ltd.(Rs. 549.98 crore), Tata Elxsi(Rs. 548.76 crore) and Mankind Pharma(Rs. 405.46 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:51AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 162.6 points down at 25192.65, while BSE Sensex was down 574.87 points at 82615.41 as of 10:51AM(IST)on July 11.

In the Nifty index, Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 4.83 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.09 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(up 0.88 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 0.78 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 0.59 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 2.31 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 2.29 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.11 per cent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(down 1.63 per cent) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.60 per cent) were among the top losers.
