Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: IndiaMART(Rs. 202.88 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 172.58 crore), Metropolis Health(Rs. 171.87 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 150.23 crore), Motherson Sumi Wirin(Rs. 136.42 crore), Ajanta Pharma(Rs. 117.08 crore), Cera Sanitary(Rs. 91.15 crore), Avenue Supermart(Rs. 78.89 crore), Gulf Oil India(Rs. 69.95 crore) and YES Bank(Rs. 69.72 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:20AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 53.7 points down at 19571.0, while BSE Sensex was down 161.0 points at 65468.24 as of 11:20AM(IST)on October 20.

In the Nifty index, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.16 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 1.14 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.01 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(up 0.92 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 0.60 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, ITC Ltd.(down 2.60 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 1.86 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.08 per cent) were among the top losers.
