Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 927.70 crore), Adani Gas(Rs. 640.01 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 473.11 crore), Apollo Hospital(Rs. 454.21 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 434.18 crore), RIL(Rs. 407.99 crore), Dixon Tech(Rs. 340.63 crore), SBI(Rs. 311.26 crore), HDFC(Rs. 304.95 crore) and Axis Bank(Rs. 291.71 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:50AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 27.15 points up at 18561.55, while BSE Sensex was up 74.79 points at 62697.03 as of 10:50AM(IST)on June 01.

In the Nifty index, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 4.36 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.83 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 2.04 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.70 per cent) and Asian Paints Ltd.(up 1.63 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, Coal India Ltd.(down 4.39 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 3.75 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 2.37 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.24 per cent) and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.84 per cent) were among the top losers.
