Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Glenmark Pharma(Rs. 46.66 crore), 360 One Wam(Rs. 32.34 crore), HCL Tech(Rs. 25.41 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 24.58 crore), Indian Railway Fin(Rs. 23.63 crore), Engineers India(Rs. 22.96 crore), IDFC(Rs. 18.71 crore), IDFC First Bank(Rs. 17.14 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 16.22 crore) and Indian Oil Corp.(Rs. 15.14 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:55AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 64.7 points down at 18221.8, while BSE Sensex was down 242.08 points at 61690.39 as of 10:55AM(IST)on May 17.

In the Nifty index, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.27 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 0.88 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 0.83 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 0.61 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.07 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.34 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.14 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.08 per cent) were among the top losers.
