Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Friday's trade on Dalal Street as benchmark Sensex traded 282.8 points up at 59485.7 level on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Among these top gainers were Shilchar Tech(up 10.0%), Parshva Enterprises(up 10.0%), Jayant Infratech Ltd.(up 10.0%), Elegant Flori(up 9.92%), Containe Technologies Ltd.(up 9.9%), Kamanwala Hous(up 9.89%), Unistar Multi(up 9.87%), Advitiya Trade India(up 9.38%), Jindal Poly Investm(up 9.31%) and Gokul Agro Resources(up 8.53%).

In the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers included Axis Bank(up 5.90%), Kotak Bank(up 1.77%), HUL(up 1.59%), HDFC Life(up 1.50%) and Titan Company (up 1.48%).


The Nifty 50 index was trading 72.6 points higher at 17636.55.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty pack, 29 shares traded in the green, while 20 traded in the red.
