Rupee to stabilise once measures start showing up: Nitin Raheja
In a chat with ET Now, Nitin Raheja, CIO, AQF Advisors shares his views on the rupee.

ET Now: Rupee is now less than 30 paisa away from a historic low. What do you have to say?

Nitin Raheja: All the measures taken will take the time to show up. Right now, the rupee is fighting a credibility issue and so is the government. There have been so many reassurances in the past and unfortunately, all have fallen flat. All the measures taken for the trade deficit and to bring in FDI will slowly start showing up.

The sentiment is of scepticism which is keeping the rupee here. A lot of what has happened in the rupee is done at least in the shorter term. Once these measures start seeing inflows, there wouldn't be too much of strength, but the rupee will start stabilising.
