Prefer Yes Bank, IndusInd Bank within banking space: Deven Choksey

In an interview with ET Now, Deven Choksey, MD, KR Choksey Securities, shares his views on banking stocks.

ET Now: Is it time to start looking at the banking pack? If so, what would you recommend?

Deven Choksey: Within the banking space, we certainly like some of the private sector banks like ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and Yes Bank. The market gives opportunity at every point of time. 5-10% kind of a correction within some counters on a given day could give you an opportunity to buy them. I do believe that the bank rate of interest will come down eventually. One could possibly keep an eye on some of these banks and add them into the portfolio at an opportune time in the market.

ET Now: At what price, you would like to buy Yes Bank and IndusInd Bank?

Deven Choksey: Rs 260-270 for Yes Bank would be a good choice. For IndusInd Bank, Rs 385-390 range would be a good choice to add into the portfolio.
