I really do not think we would see any significant increase in repo. Ultimately, growth is also slowing down.

ET Now: With the macro data last evening, would it be a fair assumption that the RBI will have no choice but to hike interest rates this time?
Prateek Agarwal: I would not want to believe that. For me, it would be no chance to maybe a 25 bps increase. Ultimately there is a particular direction in which RBI is going. They have tried to bring down cost of money for banks. Data has come higher than expected but if you see the trend in prices after last week, onion prices may have cracked by 60 bucks.
I really do not think we would see any significant increase in repo. Ultimately, growth is also slowing down. We are getting inflation mostly on account of supply chain inefficiencies etc.
