Buy call on Titan: Anish Damania, Emkay Global Financial Services

In a chat with ET Now, Anish Damania, Head-Institutional Equity, Emkay Global Financial Services Ltd, gives his views on various stocks. Excerpts:

ET Now: What is the call on Titan?

Anish Damania: Titan reported very good numbers. They were significantly ahead of estimates and what has surprised people is that same-store growth numbers has come in robustly. You have had lower than expected dip in the jewellery volumes which have been so far the problem areas with Titan and given the context of a slowdown in consumption, somehow Titan has been able to manage both a better than expected volume growth and margin growth. So there is something right which is going along with Titan and we continue to have a positive bias of the company with a buy rating.
