YES Bank, SBI, TCS among most active stocks on Monday
In the Nifty 50 index, Bank of Baroda was down 8.91 per cent, followed by Idea Cellular (down 3.35 per cent), BHEL (down 3.04 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma (down 2.55 per cent).

NEW DELHI: Banking shares caught investors’ eye on Monday, as many companies from the sector were among the most active stocks in terms of value on Monday.
Shares of Bank of Baroda ( Rs 399.38 crore) , Infosys ( Rs 399.04 crore) , YES Bank ( Rs 347.91 crore) , SBI ( Rs 314.93 crore) , TCS ( Rs 270.21 crore) , Vedanta Ltd ( Rs 215.58 crore) , ICICI Bank ( Rs 200.26 crore) , Axis Bank ( Rs 171.79 crore) , Aurobindo Pharm ( Rs 149.53 crore) , Tata Steel ( Rs 143.26 crore) stood among most active stocks in terms of value on NSE on Monday till 12.40 pm (IST).
The NSE Nifty was down 25.60 points at 8767.95 around the same time.
In the Nifty 50 index, Bank of Baroda (down -8.91 per cent) , Idea Cellular (down -3.35 per cent) , BHEL (down -3.04 per cent) , Aurobindo Pharm (down -2.55 per cent) , Coal India Ltd (down -1.82 per cent) , SBI (down -1.63 per cent) , Adani Ports SEZ (down -1.45 per cent) , ITC (down -1.34 per cent) , ACC (down -1.33 per cent) , Maruti Suzuki (down -1.31 per cent) were among top losers.
On the other hand, Hindalco Inds. (up 2.33 per cent) , Eicher Motors (up 1.79 per cent) , Kotak Bank (up 1.46 per cent) , YES Bank (up 1.27 per cent) , Infosys (up 1.25 per cent) , PowerGrid (up 1.08 per cent) , TCS (up 0.98 per cent) , Bharti Infratel (up 0.95 per cent) , Tata Steel (up 0.85 per cent) , Tata Power (up 0.74 per cent) were trading in green.

On the other hand Birla Cotsyn, Tera Software, JMT Auto, Gangotri Text, Pricol Ltd., TD Power Sys, DB International, TV Vision Ltd., BSE Ltd., Shekhawati Poly stocks hit their new 52-week low levels during the day.
