NEW DELHI: Shares of NBCC (India) Ltd. traded 7.14 per cent up in Tuesday's trade at 10:35AM (IST). Around 1,907,480 shares changed hands on the counter.

The scrip opened at Rs 25.3 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 27.95 and Rs 24.3, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of NBCC (India) Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 57.5 and a 52-week low of Rs 14.1.

Total market cap of the NBCC (India) Ltd. stood at Rs 4878.0 crore at the time of writing this report.

The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 1930.02 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2019, up 16.52 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 1656.32 crore and up 19.71 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 2403.73 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 49.5379 crore, down 40.78 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Mar-2020, domestic institutional investors held 5.23 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 5.79 per cent and the promoters 61.75 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 35.86 and a price-to-book ratio of 2.94. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations.
