Sun TV, Graphite India, MTNL among top stocks that hit fresh 52-week high till noon trade

NEW DELHI: Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 17.10 points down at 8,717.15 in the afternoon trade on Friday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of VKS Projects, Sun TV, MTNL, Arshiya Ltd, Arrow Textiles, KEI Industries, Monnet Ispat, Tarapur Trans, Graphite India hit their fresh 52-week high on NSE.

However, stocks such as SQS India, GKW Ltd, Shekhawati Poly, FCS Software, Rasoya Proteins, Raj Rayon, Patspin India, Tricom India and Birla Cotsyn hit their fresh 52-week low in Friday’s trade.

Overall, 24 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 27 were trading in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bank of Baroda, Cipla, Bharti Infratel, IndusInd Bank, Adani Ports SEZ and Tech Mahindra were among top gainers, while ICICI Bank, Eicher Motors, Bosch, Zee Entertainment and ACC were trading lower.

The BSE Sensex were trading 56.06 points down at 28170.55 in the noon trade.

Traders were seen piling up position in infrastructure, shipping, telecommunications, petrochemicals, gems and jewellery, electronics and leather sectors, while selling were visible in iron, steel, glass, rubber, engineering, textiles, auto and plastics-related stocks.
