Stocks that were most actively traded in terms of value on Friday

NEW DELHI: Shares of many blue chip companies were demand on the National Stock exchange. There are the stocks which were most active in terms of value on Friday.

ICICI Bank ( Rs 1620.09 crore) , RIL ( Rs 288.00 crore) , Infosys ( Rs 269.09 crore) , Axis Bank ( Rs 260.56 crore) , HDFC ( Rs 259.08 crore) , ITC ( Rs 235.97 crore) , YES Bank ( Rs 226.08 crore) , SBI ( Rs 223.41 crore) , Ashok Leyland ( Rs 222.50 crore) , Hindalco Inds. ( Rs 218.31 crore) stood among most active stocks in terms of value on NSE on Friday till 12.20 pm (IST).

The NSE Nifty was trading 59.15 points up at 8,661.90 Friday around the same time. In the Nifty 50 index, Bosch (down 2.53 per cent), Wipro (down 1.35 per cent), Lupin (down 1.28 per cent) , Hind Unilever (down 1.10 per cent), Kotak Bank (down 0.96 per cent) and Tata Motors (down 0.95 per cent) were trading in red.

On the other hand, BHEL (up 3.68 per cent), ICICI Bank (up 3.27 per cent), Bank of Baroda (up 3.03 per cent), Axis Bank (up 2.64 per cent), GAIL (up 2.33 per cent), SBI (up 2.26 per cent), HDFC (up 2.24 per cent), ACC (up 2.07 per cent), Bharti Airtel (up 2.01 per cent) and M&M (up 1.79 per cent) were trading in green.

Most Active stocks in terms of value help investors to identify the stocks with highest trading turnover during the day.

Stocks such as Poddar Pigments, Remsons Ind, Pitti Lamination, Adani Enterpr., Goldstone Infra, Visa Steel Ltd, HOV Services, Oil Country Tub, Lumax Ind, NBI Industrial Finance Company Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week high in today’s trade.

On the other hand Raj Rayon, High Ground Ent, Birla Cotsyn, FCS Software, DB Corp, WABCO India, Nesco Ltd, Zandu Realty, Gammon Infra, Thyrocare Technologies Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week low till 12.20 pm (IST).
