Stocks that hit their fresh 52-week highs and lows today

NEW DELHI: Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 22.70 points up at 8372.05 in afternoon trade on Monday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Bhagyanagar Ind, Bharat Rasayan, HOV Services, Panacea Biotec, Palred Tech, Bhushan Steel, Genesys Intnl, RPP Infra Proj, Arshiya Ltd, NBI Industrial Finance Company Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs on NSE.

However, stocks such as Birla Cotsyn, Rasoya Proteins, Divis Lab, Nitesh Estates, Reliance Comm, Shekhawati Poly, FCS Software, Gammon Infra touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 34 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 16 were in red around 12.20 pm (IST).

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco Inds., GAIL, BPCL, Zee Ent., Grasim Inds., ONGC, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Lupin, YES Bank were among top gainers, while ICICI Bank, Bharti Infratel, Axis Bank, Aurobindo Pharm, Larsen & Toubro, Bharti Airtel, Sun Pharma, Tech Mahindra, Hind. Unilever, Bosch remained among major losers in the index.

The BSE Sensex was trading 44.41 points up at 27078.91 .

Traders were seen piling up position in leather, beverages - alcoholic, tobacco, electronics, cables, petroleum, equipments, gems and jewellery, retail and information technology sectors, while selling were visible in aquaculture, packaging, glass, rubber, engineering, textiles, plastics, and auto sectors.
