Stock market update: Over 215 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE
The NSE Nifty index was trading 257 points down at 10,601.

Avanti Feeds, Ceat, DLF, Godrej Industries, Hero MotoCorp, HUDCO, Vodafone Idea, InterGlobe Aviation, Bharti Infratel and Maruti Suzuki India also featured among stocks that touched 52-week lows on NSE.
Key benchmarks Sensex and Nifty lost more on Thursday because of across the board selling, led by energy, auto, IT, bank and financial shares.
Rupee's unabated fall, surging crude oil prices, firming bond yields and weakness in other Asian markets weighed on domestic market sentiment.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 257 points down at 10,601, while the BSE Sensex was down 830 points at 35,146 around 12 pm.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, only five - Bharti Infratel, Larsen & Toubro, YES Bank, HPCL and Axis Bank - were in the green zone.
Eicher Motors, Reliance Industries, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Finance, TCS and Tech Mahindra were the top losers in the Nifty index.
