Stock market update: Auto stocks mixed; Bosch gains nearly 2%

NEW DELHI: Auto stocks were trading on a mixed note at 11:35AM (IST) on Friday.

Shares of Bosch (up 1.6 per cent), Exide Industries (up 1.32 per cent), Hero MotoCorp (up 0.95 per cent), Eicher Motors (up 0.82 per cent) and Bharat Forge (up 0.6 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Motherson Sumi Systems (down 1.34 per cent), Ashok Leyland (down 0.84 per cent), Amara Raja Batteries (down 0.83 per cent), Tata Motors (down 0.53 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra (down 0.22 per cent) were the top losers in the index.


The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.1 per cent up at 7919.4 around 11:35AM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 81.25 points at 11393.45, while the BSE Sensex was up 281.21 points at 38501.6.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 39 were trading in the green, while 11 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, BHEL, Zee Ent., Vodafone Idea and NTPC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Indiabulls Ventures (PP), Aarti Drugs, Affle (India) Ltd., Aditya Birla Fashion (PP) and Aarti Inds hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
