Stock market update: 69 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 164.00 points up at 14505.35 on Monday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Aarti Industries, Atul Ltd, Cadila Healthcare, Greenlam Industries, KPR Mill, Rain Industries, SRF Ltd, Zydus Wellness, Suven Pharma and Navin Fluorine International.

Overall, 41 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 9 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.


In the Nifty 50 index, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, SBI, Bajaj Finance and UltraTech Cement were among top gainers, while HCL Tech, Britannia, Cipla, Tech Mahindra and Sun Pharma were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 604.04 points up at 48482.49. Traders were seen piling up position in Rubber, Agro Processing, Tea / Coffee, Metals - Ferrous and Textiles sectors, while selling were visible in FMCG, Gems and Jewellery, Apparels, Glass and Hospitals & Allied Services sectors.
