Share market update: Gujarat Gas, Quess Corp among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 15 shares were trading in the green, while 34 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 178.43 points down at 37,218.81 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Swasti Vinayaka (up 17.70 per cent) , Ansal Buildwell (up 16.13 per cent) , Jeevan Scientific Technology (up 15.44 per cent) , Clarus Infra (up 15.27 per cent) , Danlaw Technologies (up 14.55 per cent) , Rasi Electrodes (up 13.91 per cent) , Indowind Energy (up 13.91 per cent) , Bright Brothers (up 13.07 per cent) , Shree Ajit Pulp (up 12.82 per cent), Everest Organics (up 12.09 per cent), Gujarat Gas (up 7 per cent) and Quess Corp (up 5.41 per cent) were among the top performers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 58.45 points down at 11,026.95.
