Share market update: Bank shares dip; ICICI Bank slips 3%

NEW DELHI: Bank shares were trading with losses in Monday's session.
Shares of ICICI Bank (down 2.89 per cent), RBLBANK (down 2.89 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank (down 1.02 per cent), Punjab National Bank (down 0.86 per cent), IndusInd Bank (down 0.55 per cent), State Bank of India (down 0.54 per cent) and Bank of Baroda (down 0.36 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Bank index was trading 0.62 per cent down at 19232.4 around 11:56AM .
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 62.70 points at 9314.2 , while the BSE Sensex was up 203.61 points at 31846.31 .
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 36 were trading in the green, while 14 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, Motherson Sumi, RBL Bank Ltd., SBI, Vedanta , RIL, Ashok Leyland and Zee Ent. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
