Share market update: 56 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 56 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Thursday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Adani Green, Biocon, Alok Industries, Birla Tyres, Escorts, LT Foods, Mittal Life Style, Muthoot Finance, Network18 Media & Investments, Suven Pharmaceuticals, Ruchi Soya Industries and Ruchi Infrastructure.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 34.05 points up at 9915.20.


Overall, 30 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 20 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

In the Nifty 50 index, Zee Ent., Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Infratel and Vedanta were among top gainers.

While Adani Ports SEZ, ONGC, Shree Cements, Nestle India and HUL were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 82.10 points up at 33590.02.
