Share market update: 54 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 54 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Tuesday's session.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Adani Enterprises, Ajanta Pharma, AU Small Finance Bank, Bajaj Finance, Escorts, Galaxy Surfactants, Hinduja Global Solutions, INOX Leisure, United Spirits, Neogen Chemicals, The Phoenix Mills, Relaxo Footwears, Sheela Foam, Sanginita Chemicals, Tata Elxsi, Tata Chemicals, Trent and VIP Industries.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 125.65 points up at 12,157.15 while the BSE Sensex was trading 406.31 points up at 41,385.93.
Overall, 48 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 2 were trading in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, GAIL, Tata Motors, JSW Steel, Tata Steel and UltraTech Cements were among the top gainers.
While TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Kotak Bank and Britannia Inds. were trading in the red.
